Helping Hands for Butterflies - Blantyre

Wildflower meadows are important habitats for many butterflies and other insects. We are working to create two new meadows in Bothwell Road Park in Hamilton, and Stonefield Park in Blantyre. Come along to our volunteer events at these meadows to get things started! We will be raking back the old grass and sowing some wildflower seeds.

Saturday 2nd November: Stonefield Park, Blantyre (beside the leisure centre)

This event will take place between 10am and 2pm (with a break for lunch). If you are only able to make it for part of the day you would still be welcome to attend.
Booking is required. Email Anthony on amccluskey@butterfly-conservation.org or phone 01786 459811 (leave a message if there is no answer).
This event is being delivered through by Butterfly Conservation staff in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council. It is part of the Helping Hands for Butterflies Project which is generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Scottish Natural Heritage
